Join Friends of Inwood Hill Park and Inwood Canoe Club for a clean up and invasive species removal at Inwood Canoe Club from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM for the 14th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.
Volunteers will meet at Inwood Canoe Club Boat House in Inwood Park, 360 Dyckman Street. Street parking is available, but competitve.
We recommend that all Sweep volunteers bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer.
This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.

*IMPORTANT! To ensure the safety of volunteers, Sweep Site Leaders, professional staff, and our communities, we ask that volunteers adhere to the following guidelines:
- Volunteers are required to pre-register for Sweep.
- Volunteers should not participate if they have ANY signs of illness.
Over the last 13 years, Sweep leaders have completed 1,349 service projects, bringing together thousands of volunteers from NYC to the Adirondacks to clean up 382 tons of debris, and plant or maintain 8,851 native plants.
