Runway 7 Fashion, New York Fashion Week’s first vertically integrated Runway announces its partnership with Mount Sinai's Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis.

This partnership will benefit Mount Sinai's ongoing efforts in finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.

Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis at Mount Sinai uses the latest therapies and medications and is a research leader. They provide the best available MS care and use the latest diagnostics and treatments for adults and children.

Runway 7 Fashion pledged to donate half of all virtual and live door proceeds from New York Fashion Week's show to fund Mount Sinai's Multiple Sclerosis Research.

"We are thrilled to be partnered with Mount Sinai and their MS Research Center," says Diane Vara, Director of Operations at Runway 7. "We want to do our part in supporting Multiple Sclerosis Research and use our platform to bring awareness to this widespread and, at times, debilitating neurological condition."

Vara further shared that they chose to partner with Mount Sinai because of Dr. Patrizia Casaccia, an Italian Neurologist and a pioneer in the study of myelin. Her research focuses on understanding the neurobiological and neuroimmune mechanisms of multiple sclerosis to translate their findings into treatments.

"Mount Sinai has a strong track record with treating rare autoimmune diseases that affect the central nervous system, in particular MS and we hope that our contributions will help Mount Sinai and Dr. Patrizia Cassaccia fund and further advanced research and clinical trials."

Over the past 20 years, MS research has made significant progress. Runway 7 Fashion wants to do its part and use its platform to help contribute to that progress and the hard work researchers put forward every day towards finding a cure.
