We're heading inside Staten Island homebrewers' homes. And drinking their beer.
About this Event

New York City homebrewers refuse to let space limitations detract them from their mission: crafting some of the city's best beer. On today's seafaring tour, we're visiting Staten Island's best and brightest homebrewers in the Pour Standards club.

Today’s journey will start at Manhattan’s Staten Island Ferry terminal, where you'll board a boat and have cold beverages to keep you company on the 20-minute cruise to Staten Island. From there, you'll take a private bus to a trio of different homebrewers' homes—yes, homes. Expect a basement nanobrewery where you'll drink Citra-hopped pale ales and raspberry Berliner weisses, while other homebrewers will serve plenty of IPAs, French farmhouse ales and more.

For the last stop? You'll visit Flagship Brewing for a private tour and one last pint, which is included in the ticket. Flagship is less than a 15-minute walk to the ferry terminal, and boats run every 30 minutes.

Eat a big lunch. Your guide for this tour is the always excellent Brett Vanderbrook, a veteran Brooklyn homebrewer.

NOTE: Only 35 tickets are available. Also, renting a bus is kind of, sort of, really expensive. Hence, the higher cost of the tour. But hey, have we ever let you down? This will be so worth it.
