What can you expect?
On Thursday, you'll be treated to a Welcome Dinner with
complimentary drink, in a fine Theatre District restaurant. As our guest of honor, a member of the Broadway League, co-sponsor of the Tony Awards ceremony will join us and we will have a behind-the-scenes immersive discussion about the Tony Awards voting procedure and ceremony.
Later that night, you will a Broadway show of your choice, from Front Orchestra seats!
On Friday, you'll come with us for an exclusive visit to a Broadway costume workshop. Explore the intricate process of costume creation, from initial sketches to final fittings, and witness firsthand the artistry behind Broadway iconic looks. Explore the campus of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, exterior and interior.
Following lunch, with complementary drinks, in a fine neighborhood restaurant, we stroll into Central Park, followed by an exploration of the 1800s Brownstone neighborhoods bordering the Park, accompanied by the cofounder of the NYC Historic Districts Council.
That night, you will another Broadway show of your choice, from Front Orchestra seats.
Post-theater, we will gather for a private reception, with dessert and complimentary drinks. Our guests of honor will be 1) a widely respected member of the Broadway community and 2) a cast member from "The Outsiders."
Then on Saturday, we will have an expert-led walk back in time, as we stroll along 42nd Street and through the Garment District while discussing each of these neighborhoods when they were the very centers of New York's Theater District. In a lounge within the Garment District's most beautiful apartment building, you'll experience entertainment and discussion salon with three principal Broadway cast members, each from a different hit musical, accompanied on the piano by the keyboardist from the Broadway phenomenon "Wicked."
This will be followed by a sweeping rooftop vista from the close-up Empire State Building and the distant World Trade Center.
For the afternoon, you'll be free to explore on your own. If you want to see an additional Broadway show, we will gladly obtain Front Orchestra seats for you (additional cost).
Then later that evening, you will again see a Broadway show of your choice, from Front Orchestra seats!
On Sunday, you'll explore and compare two sections of the same Brooklyn neighborhood, Williamsburg, The Hasidic section --- and the contemporary, trendy section and Long Island City, with its views of the Mid-Manhattan skyline!
Enjoy a complimentary drink at a micro-brewery, as we have a discussion with a member of the brewery's management staff.
You will have a choice of the following:
- Depart New York this afternoon.
- Or, have a free afternoon. You may want to see an additional Broadway show on your own. We will gladly obtain Front Orchestra Seats for you (additional cost).
Then, in the early evening on Sunday, you can either depart New York or treat yourself to another night in The Big Apple!
