New York 2140

We go from 1950s Glasgow to 2140s New York with Kim Stanley Robinson's aptly-named "cli-fi" thriller New York 2140. This was the winner of our 600 page minimum Christmas Long Read vote, with truly epic contenders like Ducks, Newburyport and Infinite Jest coming in a close second and third. I will buy the first person to read them all a drink. See you in January!
Attendance is limited as we can really only squeeze in 15 people. Please RSVP to the event if you want to come, and don't sign up if we're already at 15.
Runners-up
The Man Who Loved Dogs - Leonardo Padura
Ducks, Newburyport - Lucy Ellman
Midnights Children - Salman Rushdie
Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell - Susanna Clark
Anna Karenina - Leo Tolstoy
Infinite Jest - David Foster Wallace
