There has never been a better time to start yoga. We are going through extraordinarily challenging times, with the COVID-19. Most of us will have experienced dramatic changes in our lives, which can result in us feeling anxious, off balance and disempowered.
People start yoga for a variety of reasons & conditions incuding: stress relief, to improve flexibility & strength and physical fitness. And yes Yoga really does help with all of these things.
However, overtime people learn and experience that practicing yoga regularly is a gateway to so much more than just the physical... if offers an important space in our lives to
self-reflection, practice kindness, self-compassion & to grow our self-awareness. Practicing yoga helps us boast our exuberance, inner balance and wellbeing so we can be a strong for what life sends our way & supportive to those around us.
This course is suitable all genders, all body types, all ages & all souls. You don't have to be able to touch your toes, be bendy, fit and strong to attend... just come as you are. Yoga is for everyone & everyone is welcome.
The 8 week course is ideal for beginners/level 1 as well as for those who haven't been on a yoga mat for sometime and want to return. Throughout this course you will learn the safe alignment for each of the fundamental yoga poses used within Vinyasa Yoga Flow. This energising, fun and dynamic style of yoga is practiced to a variety of world music, relaxing rhythms and sounds to help you develop your balance, confidence, strength and flexibility.
As your confidence grows through practicing the breath, body, mind flow sequences, tailored specifically for individual needs, you will begin to notice the many physical, emotional, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga.
The majority of those who have attend my beginners courses find the mental and physical confidence to go onto attending regular yoga classes and or feel confident to to practice safely at home.
Due to COVID please bring your own mat, blanket & cushion/pillow. Covid Safety measures are in place at Space to Move
CLOTHING: Wear clothes you feel comfortable in and can move freely in. Bring a bottle of water.
COST: The 8 week course cost £65. Your place on the course will be confirmed once you have paid for the course in full.

LOCATION: SPACE TO MOVE 2 Charles Darwin Rd, Mount Wise, PL1 4GU Space to Move; a beautiful studio in which to move... is friendly, welcoming and has everything you need to feel relaxed & calm. There is free Parking, a secure bike shed and on an accessible bus route less than 5 minutes from Plymouth city centre. For those Parking - 3 options: Studio designated parking - 3 spaces outside the studio with clear parking signs 'Space to Move - Thank you’ In the car park, turn left as soon as you turn to Mount Wise Crescent. It is perfectly safe to park here although it says sales office only! Anywhere along side Charles Darwin Rd or Pembroke Street.
