Wednesday, December 31st, 8:30 PM to Midnight+: Come to Birmingham Footmad’s annual New Year’s Eve dance where we will ring in another year wearing our sparkly clothes, enjoying festive food, and toasting 2026 with cups of sparkling cider among our friends. Feel free to bedeck yourself in glitter, rhinestones and glitter (or not) and also to supplement the refreshments Footmad provides with treats you bring (or not).
We will dance to a beautiful fusion of Old-time, Bluegrass, Irish, and Wacky Toons provided by Plaid Grass, a talented trio based in Nashville. Deanna Palumbo of Knoxville will call the dance.
When you press the buzzer at the front door of the YWCA that night and the guard answers, say “We’ve come to dance in the New Year.”
$20 ($10 for students). Bring your water bottle and comfy shoes and join us for a great time!
