Start the year with birds and join us at the Fish and Wildlife Headquarters (#1 Sportsman’s Lane) at the picnic shelter just outside Salato. Frankfort Audubon board member Rob Chadwick will lead the bird walk. We hope to see some winter waterfowl that might have flown in, and maybe Hermit Thrush, kinglets, Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, and Yellow-rumped Warblers. The event is free. Bring binoculars if you have them, or we will have a few loaner pairs.
