The City of Hazleton’s Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting the 6th annual New Year's fireworks celebration at City View Park with the first launch starting at 7:00PM on Wednesday, December 31st over Hazleton’s beautiful coal mountain. The City of Hazleton’s New Year's Eve fireworks celebration is a time to celebrate, reflect, and reminisce on all that has happened throughout the current year, and to focus on new areas of improvement that you can kick off at the start of the new dazzling year of 2026.
According to Chinese mythology, 2026 will be the year of the Horse which begins on February 17th. The Year of the Horse gallops in with vibrant and fiery energy, symbolizing adventure, vitality, and momentum.
