Take a trip back to the swinging '60s on New Year's Eve with The Hurdy Gurdies at Firebrand, Launceston's coolest live music venue.The Hurdy Gurdies will perform their acclaimed live set, taking you on a magical mystery tour through music's greatest decade, from the Cavern Club to Woodstock. Featuring classic songs from the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Yardbirds, The Kinks, Spencer Davis Group and many others, as well as authentic costumes, instruments and gear, The Hurdy Gurdies are the ultimate tribute to the sights and sounds of the '60s.
The band will be followed by a DJ set, carrying on through the decades with all the hits you know and love from the '70s, '80s, '90s, and beyond.
A selection of Firebrand's excellent beers, masterfully brewed on-site, will of course be available.
Come along to ring out the old, ring in the new, and start the new year in style!
PLEASE NOTE: This event will run from 7:30pm when doors open, until 1am when the DJ set ends.
