Join us for a memorable New Year’s celebration at Mt. Bachelor Nordic! As dusk falls in the mountains, head out for a ski along candlelit trails. The Luminaria Trail will extend for 2 kilometers - from the Nordic Lodge to the Oval via Beginner's Luck and then back to the Lodge via Gaining Ground. The trail is open to both skiers and snowshoers, however walking (without snowshoes) is not permitted. Enjoy a full menu of food and beverages from the Nordic Cafe, experience a winter bonfire on the snow, and ring in 2026 in the great outdoors. Be sure to bring a headlamp! Costumes, glow-in-the-dark attire, and general merriment are all encouraged!This is a self-guided experience; however, a Half-Day Nordic Trail Pass ($24 adult / $16 senior & youth) or a Nordic Season Pass is required for the event. Passes may be purchased at the Nordic Lodge during the event. The lodge will remain open until 8:00 p.m. and will be staffed to outfit guests with trail passes, rental equipment, and hot food and beverages. The Nordic Retail Shop will be open for clothing and accessory purchases, and Nordic Ski Patrol will be onsite throughout the evening.
