Looking for an unique adventure to ring in the new year? Look no further. Come out to Galveston Island State Park and enjoy one of the most iconic beaches in Texas. We plan on camping new years eve and hiking new years day (around 6 miles). Plus, there should be some amazing fireworks not too far way from where we are staying in the park. Some of us are bringing kayaks just in case the weather allows for some paddling on new years day as well (after our hike). As always please let me know if you have any questions!
