The Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden
Labeled a "year-round treat" by Travel + Leisure, Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden has a rich history that dates back to October 1, 1910, when the cornerstone was laid after two adjacent lots, originally part of a farm, were purchased. The venue was constructed in three phases. The original Hall, now the entrance, was the first section, but it quickly became clear that more space was needed. The Main Hall was added, which also served as a Sokol Gym. In 1919, the outdoor Bar and Park areas were completed—just in time for Prohibition, which lasted over a decade and banned the sale of alcohol in the U.S. Despite the challenges, Bohemian Hall endured and continued to thrive.
