Learn to dance the two most popular Latin dances SALSA & BACHATA
The rhythms and body movement will motivate you into the New Year!
Class Dates: Jan 9 - Feb 22
$140/ 8 classes. 55 minute class + registration. Choose to "Lead" or "Follow"
Location: Viva Arts Studio 4421 Fauntleroy Way. SW, Seattle Wa 98126
Plan to arrive by 6:45pm to complete in-person registration. Masks remain required for this class unless otherwise posted. Missed classes cannot be made up beyond the class series dates. Please bring proof of vaccination. Annual student registration is due by the first day of class.
Anyone can dance with some dedication and practice.
Salsa on 2 is dancing "en linea" (being mindful of a linear pathway/slot) while executing fun turn patterns. You will learn footwork, learn the dance vocabulary, develop your body movememt and gain confidence in dancing with others.
Bachata is a dance from the Dominican Republic with multiple styles and beautiful music. In this class, you will learn the traditional style to ground your learning and then will move to include Sensual and Urban style techniques that are fun and empowering when connecting to a partner on the social dance floor.
