About this Event
This will be our third year of joining in the BSBI New Year Flower count. We will be looking for any wildflower that is flowering on New Year's Day, and recording the details as part of a national citizen science project.
You might be surprised how many there are! We may plan a couple of different routes, but these will be short and close to the Salts green space.
It is advisable to book. That way we can let you know if any arrangements change, and bring along enough resources.
It's usually a lovely event and we all usually end up learning something new about wildflowers! As we are close to the sea, we may spot leaves of some Seaford "specials" like Rottingdean Sea lavender and Sea Heath
If a cafe is open, we may meet up for a coffee afterwards!
No experience is needed and accompanied children are most welcome
