Come and join us for our Beginner Bootcamp on Jan 24th 2026 to try out different swing dance styles. We will focus on Lindy Hop, Charleston, and blues dancing.
After this one-day bootcamp you will be ready to dance with everyone in our dance community at ECSB (and anywhere else peeps swing and blues dance) or to decide that swing dancing is not your thing (but chances are very, very low ;-) ).
No previous dance experience or partner required.
HOURS:
2 - 6 pm: Learn Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Blues with us (with breaks)
6 - 8 pm: Dinner (we will order pizza; time to refuel, relax and socialize)
8 - 9:30pm: Social Dance (practice what you have learned today, have fun, enjoy the music)
ADMISSION:
Beginner Bootcamp pass: (includes workshops, dinner & social): $30 students, $35 non-students

Please wear comfortable, secure shoes (e.g. sneakers), try to avoid high heels, shoes with a lot of grip, and very inflexible soles. If it's raining/snowing please change into your dance shoes at the event (we want to avoid water on the dance floor).
