Looking for a healthy, encouraging, community-based kick-start to 2026!? Runner's Edge of the Rockies (RER) is hosting an All-Are-Welcome group training run to kick off the new year; Mount To Coast will be the sponsoring the run, offering shoe demos for all intrigued. Superfeet and Balega will also be hosting! Runners will take off from Runners Roost Lakewood at 8am for a marked course provided by RER, with water stations along the route. Bathrooms are available at King Soopers if runners are in need prior to taking off. Runners Roost will be open at 9am for all participants upon return offering breakfast, raffles and great deals!
Mount To Coast will be offering H1 demos for all intrigued by the Road-To-Trail plush ride; come give them a spin! Pancakes will be warming on the griddle, ready for participants upon returning from the run; additionally, coffee, juice and healthy breakfast items will be provided. A route will be offered with a start and finish from the Runners Roost Lakewood location. All distances are welcome with turn-around options. Aid stations will be set up along the route to ensure runners are well-hydrated.
