Happy New Year! Welcome 2026 with fresh air, family fun, and plenty of room for adventure and discovery at the New Year Family Fun Day, presented in partnership with the Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library. Join us on Friday, January 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on the Grand Lawn at Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens for a lively morning designed for all ages.
This free community event invites families to start the year together with activities and relaxed outdoor entertainment. Enjoy a variety of lawn games such as corn hole, hula hoops, and giant Connect Four, visit a craft or temporary tattoo station, stroll along almost 6 miles of scenic garden and forest trails, and cool down with refreshing lemonade.
There will be maps and information booths to learn more about garden & library programs, community resources, and volunteer opportunities in 2026 and beyond.
No registration required - just come ready to have fun and celebrate the new year outdoors!
