Available In-Person or on Zoom.Deep relaxation contributes to an overall feeling of well-being and helps you uncover your natural clarity and peace of mind. In the state of deep relaxation, tension is released from the body on a physical level, and the mind completely switches off.
Before we begin to practice relaxation, we must find our Sankalpa—our intention for practice. Unlike traditional resolutions which begin from a place of lack ("This year I'll be different."), Sankalpa practice starts from the radical premise that you already are who you need to be. You already are perfect. All you need to do is accept this idea.
Find your Sankalpa for the coming year as you unwind from holiday stress with this two-plus-hour restorative practice and guided meditation.

Our instructor:
Lauren found yoga after shattering her ankle in a car accident in 2006. When she was finally back on her feet three months after her accident, her surgeon suggested yoga as a way to restore strength and flexibility to her damaged ankle. Lauren found that not only did yoga help her manage her injuries, but it did a lot to calm her mind around daily stressors and started to change her worldview. She began to see that more than just exercises or stretches, yoga is a way of interacting with the world around us that promotes joy and non-harm. After being a daily practitioner for several years, she was certified to teach in 2012. Lauren has achieved her 500hr certification with Moksha Yoga. She is additionally certified in Prenatal Yoga, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and Restorative Yoga.
