Come join us in casting on/starting shawls for the New Year's 2025 Stitch Along! Come and go as it's convenient for you Saturday morning.We've joined with The Yarn Shop in Twin Falls, Three Loves Yarn in Nampa, and I Yarn For Ewe in Boise to bring you a Stitch Along to jump start your year with community and creativity.
Come join makers from all over Southern Idaho and beyond in making one of the following shawls:
*Festival of Stitches by Lisa Hannes for knitters
or
*Endless Seasons Shawl LITE by The Frosted Stitch for crocheters
What you will need to bring:
*Needles (size 4)/hooks (4.0mm G) for your project. These are the suggested sizes--bring other sizes if you usually go up or down needle/hook sizes in your project. You will also need a few stitch markers. Please check your patterns. :)
*Three skeins of fingering weight yarn (100g skeins), preferably semi-solid colors, and with high contrast between Colors A and B. I will bring kits (yarn only) that I've hand dyed ranging in price from $90 to $126, depending on the yarn base. These kits work for either project and I have a few colors I've dyed this week that aren't yet available on my website. You will also have the opportunity to mix and match skeins to create a color combo that is perfect for you. HOWEVER, you are aslo welcome to stash dive or buy yarn from The Yarn Connection or other LYS and come join in! I will have a swift and ball winder available for you to use if you need it.
