Get motivated and equipped to explore new worshipping communities with Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell.
About this Event

Please note: This event was initially advertised as being on the 21 June 2024 . The date is actually 22 June.

Every church is being encouraged to explore new ways of engaging those outside the church with worship and faith. This significant morning will help all of us to take steps forward in this and will be a chance to meet with others wanting to do the same.

Archbishop Stephen will talk about the importance of doing church in new ways and Mark Powley, Archbishops Missioner for the North, will offer practical help on how to work out what is appropriate in different contexts.

We will hear from local church projects and have time to talk through what this might mean for our own churches. There will be a selection of useful books for reference and a list of resources.

Breakfast will be available from 8.30 and the meeting will begin at 9.00am, finishing at 12 noon.

The event will include bacon rolls and continental breakfast (gluten free options will be available)
