We're honored to be returning to the Georgetown Public Library for Pride Month to present new works inspired by Zeyn Joukhadar's The Thirty Names of Night. Zeyn Joukhadar's beautifully and lyrically written novel of grief, resilience and self-discovery tells the story of Nadir, a young trans man seeking answers about his mother's death while searching for his self-identity and true name. It's also a story of community and finding one's place in the world across two timelines. The book received both Stonewall and Lambda Literary Awards.
