Thursday 11th July | 6pm-8:30pm | £70 – Pay £35 to secure your place today. Join local artist Annabel for a fun and creative evening at John’s of Instow. Enjoy fizz (non-alcoholic alternatives available) and delicious homemade nibbles from our deli kitchen, and get your creative juices flowing!
Using vegetable fantastic shapes and colours as inspiration, we will draw and cut out our own stencils. Combine with real leaves,thread and netting, we will learn to ink up and put our prints through the small printing press. Come away with up to 4 good size prints ( 17 x 24cm each) Beginners very welcome as drawings will be available to trace.
Sit back, relax and sip on your drink while you paint and chat with fellow artists. This is a social evening of creativity, so feel free to bring a friend, or come alone and meet some new people. We promise you’ll have a great time and leave with a 4 one-of-a-kind prints of art that you can be proud of.

Annabel is an accomplished designer with a degree in Textile Design. She set up her studio (Appledore Print Studio) on the outskirts of Appledore in 2015, specialising in paper and fabric printing. There she teaches very small groups of locals and holiday makers day, week and long 8 week courses. She loves to collaborate too working with galleries, museums, cafes and schools! Her own handprinted work concentrates on botanical motifs in hedgerows and local rock pools. Lampshades, cushions, scarves, prints and cards are all created and can be seen in Dartmoor/Exmoor galleries.
