Who it’s for: Absolute beginners who want to learn line dancing from the ground up.Kind ask: If you’re a seasoned dancer, please join one of our other classes—this class is dedicated to newbies so everyone can learn at a comfortable pace.
Schedule
• Doors: 7:00 PM
• Class: 7:30–9:00 PM
• Format: A 12-week segment that restarts at Week 1 after the 12 weeks conclude.
What you’ll learn
• How to count music in beats (timing & rhythm)
• Names of fundamental line dance steps (e.g., step touches, grapevines, pivots, shuffles, rocks, and more)
• How to put steps together into beginner-friendly routines with confidence
Pace & Vibe
• Slow, supportive instruction
• Lots of repetition and practice time
• Questions encouraged!
Best time to join
• Week 1 is ideal, and the program cycles back every 12 weeks so you’ll always have a fresh start.
What to bring
• Comfortable shoes and a can-do attitude. No partner needed.
