Join instructor Meg Cahill as she guides you through the step by step process of making a Jelly Roll Rug with your sewing machine! This two day event promises to inspire your creativity with a new take on rug making, and completed project at the end. The techniques learned in this class will be sure to put a great spin on your crafting this holiday season!
Supply List:
40-strip jelly roll – DO NOT unroll before class!
Good quality polyester machine thread, at least two spools
Pre-wind at least three bobbins of your thread
Denim machine needles size 14
Tube maker – available from Gypsy and Clover
Bosal 2 ¼” or 2 ½” wide batting roll – 50 yds
Best Press spray sizing
Rotary cutter, small mat and ruler with 45 degree mark
Fabric marking pen
Sewing machine in good working order
Extension table for your machine (if you have one)
