The seminar will cover the elements of Good Cause Eviction, new tenant rights due to the 2019 Tenant Protection Act, and more. Representatives from NHS Brooklyn and a legal services nonprofit will answer questions such as:

- How do I know if my landlord is overcharging me?
- Does my home qualify under the new rent laws? How do I find out?
- How much notice should my landlord give if they will increase the rent or not renew my lease?
- On what grounds can my landlord evict me?

- What should I do if my landlords serves me with legal papers?
