Brothers Liberating Our Communities is a 501c3 working to increase the representation of Black Male Educators in schools. For the last 5 years, BLOC has supported 15 Black men towards their masters degrees and full licensures. Through those men, BLOC has impacted over 15,000 students across the Kansas City landscape towards higher educational achievement. When we increase the sustainment, retention, and representation of Black Male Educators, all of our students are positively impacted.
The BLOC winter gala will give you the opportunity to hear more about BLOC's work, meet the fellows and men that make up the organization and hear their stories, and support BLOC for the upcoming year in their endeavors.
