Up tempo tunes… Relaxed vibesWe're so excited to announce a brand new Swing City night!
If you love dancing to up-tempo swing music, this night is for you! We’re creating a new regular social especially for Balboa and Shag dancers, although all swing dance styles are welcome on the dance floor.
As long as we get enough people along, we’ll aim to run this monthly.
We’ll be based at The Park View and the set-up will feel a bit more intimate than for our Tuesday nights. This will be an evening for socialising as much as for dancing.
7.30-8.20pm - Open level Balboa class
Join us for a Balboa class, suitable for complete beginners and improvers. No need to book or come with a partner, just turn up. Smooth soled shoes a must!
8.20-11pm tbc - Up tempo social
We’ll play tunes mainly with Balboa and Shag dancers in mind (fast Lindy welcome too), though we may drop in the occasional slow one to ring the changes. Everyone welcome!
