Maya Breuer, E-RYT 500
Maya Breuer has been teaching yoga for more than 30 years. She began to study yoga in 1986 and received her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification in 1992, from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. In 1994, Maya traveled to India to deepen her understanding of Hatha Yoga and to study the philosophical perspectives of Yoga, at the Lakulish University, in Gujarat, India.
Co-founder of the Black Yoga Teachers Alliance, Emeritus Trustee of the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and creator of the Yoga Retreat for Women of Color®, Maya advocates for better health and well-being for all, through the practice of yoga.
