Attention women of Walla Walla and surrounding communities: something wonderful is coming soon to your area!Soroptimist International plans to establish a new Soroptimist Club just for you!
Representatives from neighboring clubs are offering free informational sessions to introduce you to Soroptimist, a global volunteer organization with nearly 65,000 members in 139 countries and territories. Soroptimist provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
If you're looking for opportunities to improve the lives of local women and girls through programs that lead to social and economic empowerment, plan to attend a session at the Walla Walla Public Library:
Thurs., Feb. 12 - 12:30 to 1:45 pm
Wed., Feb. 25 - 5:15-6:30 pm
You'll also have the chance to join the new club, which will be chartered in the Spring of 2026.
Soroptimists volunteer their time, talents and energy to help women and girls live their dreams every day by giving them the resources to create positive change — for themselves, their families and their communities.
