Sean O’Hanrahan is a pianist / singer-songwriter from Cambridge. Growing up in a musical family he naturally made his way to the piano and later started joining bands in the local music scene.
Recently Sean decided it was time for him to put his own album together of songs that had been developing over the years. Having put a band together for the recording process he finds himself with an all star cast of Cambridge’s finest musicians, whom he has joined in numerous projects over the last decade of playing as a session musician.
Sean brings the songs that are currently being recorded live before you ahead of releasing his debut album entitled All Bets Are Off.
Clare Hayes Trio
Clare Hayes is a Cambridge based singer, guitarist and Irish flat-back bouzouki player. Born in London to a musical family, her style draws on her strong Irish and Scottish roots, performing a mixture of traditional songs and eclectic covers.
She uses different tunings and a finger picking style to interpret songs she loves – whether written by friends, discovered during her time living on the west coast of Ireland, or absorbed from a childhood spent listening to folk and country from both sides of the Atlantic.
She plays regularly with Johnny Wright (guitar, vocals) and Lucinda Fudge (viola/ violin, vocals). The trio produce a rich sound – with beautifully interwoven instruments and three part harmonies – that sits somewhere between folk, acoustic and Americana.
