New Parent Talk. Link. Confirm. Cosmetology Provider Training & Happy Hour

Join First 5 Sonoma County to be trained as a Connector to fight against postpartum suicide and help save lives.
About this Event

1 in 5 of your new parent clients are experiencing a postpartum mood or anxiety disorder.

First 5 Sonoma County wants to partner with you, as a trusted messenger for new parents. You have intimate connections with your clients and can help connect them to the support they deserve!

Join us for a happy hour training to learn how to spot the signs of postpartum depression, talk with your clients and link them to resources. You don’t have to be a mental health professional to be able to support new parents. After this training you will leave as a Connector who can confidently talk, link, and confirm with your clients so they feel supported.

Training and materials will be provided over appetizers at Club 300 located at Victory House. Financial stipends for participation will be provided.
