Steve Gerard is the Assistant Director of New Hospital Construction at Liverpool University Hospitals.
Steve was the construction Director for the new build and moving forward the Director leading for the demo of the old estate. Steve will be talking about the new Royal Liverpool build and the demolition project of the old site, linking in some of the health and safety challenges, good practice he adopted and continues to adopt, whilst planning the demolition.
Stewart Crowe is the Assistant Director for Health and Safety at Liverpool University Hospitals.
Stewart will be talking about the new Workplace Health and Safety Standards updated in May 2022, by the NHS Staff Council working in partnership with the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Partnership Group. Stewart will be exploring how they have been used and developed by Liverpool University Hospital.
A tour of the new building will also take place.

This event is open to IOSH members and non members.
