NEW SERIES BY Diederick van RijsewijkIn this 3 hour Tuesday training we will explore somatic work as a means for composition and artistic expression.
This will be a space for composers, musicians and other artistic practitioners to deepen their Musical embodiment and real time composition practice.
We turn inwards, opening up a deep listening to specific body systems, hearing time and meeting space from an embodied perception. What is the mind of this body system? And how do we give it life in time and space? What (movement) qualities arise?
To compose from an embodied place opens up a playfield of musical, performative expression and learning.
During the fall: 7 trainings, 3 shared practices, 2 celebrations and a public sharing.
During the Spring: 8 sessions, 4 shared practices, 2 celebrations and a public sharing.
