Join the Cleveland Institute of Music’s New Music Ensemble for an engaging afternoon of contemporary works that explore texture, reflection, and sonic imagination. Under the direction of Keith Fitch, the ensemble presents a dynamic program featuring music by Andrew Rindfleisch and Jacob Druckman.
The repertoire includes Rindfleisch’s What Vibes! (2000), Quiet Music (2007), and Mirages (2023), alongside Druckman’s evocative Reflections on the Nature of Water (1986). The performance highlights the creative voice of guest composer Andrew Rindfleisch, Kulas Foundation Visiting Artist, with featured performances by pianists William McNally, Kulas Foundation Visiting Artist, and Shuai Wang (BM ’03, MM ’05, AD ’07, DMA ’11).
Admission is free; however, seating passes are required. A livestream option is also available for those who wish to watch remotely.
