The New Moon is a space of fertility. A time for transitions and transcendence. Let's use this empty canvas to let go of what no longer serves us and use it as recycled material for new grounds to come.
Awareness into Action and Morningside Watersports are collaborating to provide you with a beautiful, community-centered experience TUESDAY, JUN. 28.
Join us for an evening led by Maria Rosa Romero with sound-healing, acupressure, and liberating movement surrounded by the bonfire. Let's bring in this Leo new moon in a way that honors our bodies, our hearts, and the constant that is change and transformation.
Come after work, come as you are!
Let's come together to honor the new moon, ourselves, and eachother. We will facilitate this new cycle to bridge the gap between life and death, dreaming and reality, and what's collective and personal to find ourselves at peace with the old and welcome the new.
The new moon will guide us as we recognize a blank slate as an opportunity to plant seeds and inspire new beginnings. Sound healing and acupressure will allow for grounding, and releasing, as well as a feeling of joy, renewal, and nurturance inside and out.
We have established two tiers of giving to ensure that no one will be turned away:

What will you need to bring?
- Yoga mat or blanket or something to lay/sit on (get cozy)
We encourage bringing friends, family of all ages (or you can bring your friendly pet!)
*Free Parking inside or outside the Morningside Park gate.
If parked outside the main gate, please walk through the pedestrian gate and you'll find us straight ahead at the first structure to the left. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Morningside is a hidden gem but it has the potential to be a much more powerful community center. In addition to the various kayaking and paddleboarding tours hosted at Morningside, like the New Moon Healing Circle, we want to work together to create workshops, markets, educational seminars, clinics, clean-ups, etc. all tailored to community needs. We want to GET INVOLVED and DO WHAT WE LOVE.
All proceeds will assist in funding current and future community offerings.
