There are new moons and then there are new moons that feel like a portal cracking open.
June 14th is one of those.
The New Moon in Gemini arrives as a supermoon, amplified, potent, and electric with the energy of new beginnings.
Gemini is the sign of duality, communication, curiosity, and the sacred dance between two aspects of the self. This lunation is an invitation to integrate, to bring the parts of yourself you have been keeping separate back into wholeness.
The thinking self and the feeling self. The public self and the private self. The self you show the world and the self that lives in the quiet dark of your own body.
And Venus moves into Leo the day before this new moon, bringing bold, radiant, heart-forward energy into everything we do. This is not a time for shrinking. This is a time for stepping fully into who you are becoming.
We are gathering under the open sky at Blue Heron Nature Preserve to honor this portal with three of the most ancient plant medicines and healing modalities available to us.

WHAT WE WILL EXPERIENCE TOGETHER
🍫 Sacred Cacao Ceremony - We use ceremonial grade cacao, the ancient plant medicine of the heart. Known as the food of the gods across Mesoamerican traditions, cacao gently opens the heart field, increases receptivity, and creates a sacred container of warmth and connection between everyone gathered. This is not hot chocolate. This is medicine and under a Gemini new moon that asks us to connect, communicate, and integrate, she is the perfect opening.
🌿 Rapé is Sacred Plant Medicine - Optional Rapé (pronounced ha-PAY) is a sacred shamanic snuff made from sacred tobacco and medicinal plants used by indigenous tribes of the Amazon basin for thousands of years. Applied through a pipe directly into the nostrils, rapé clears the mind, grounds the body, cleanses the energy field, and creates a profound stillness that allows deeper access to intention and ceremony. This is a medicine of clearing perfect for a new moon that asks us to release what no longer serves before planting new seeds.
Please note: Rapé is a sacred plant medicine administered with full ceremony and intention. If you have never worked with rapé before this is a safe and beautifully held introduction.
🌬️ Breathwork We close with a guided connected breathwork journey using the breath to move everything the cacao opened and the rapé cleared all the way through the body and into integration. Breathwork under the open sky, surrounded by the nature of Blue Heron Preserve, with the energy of the new moon above us, this is medicine that reaches places words cannot.
Together these three modalities create a complete ceremonial arc: open the heart, clear the field, breathe it all into the body.

We will be gathering in nature under the sky, surrounded by trees, water and held by the earth. Please dress comfortably and in layers as Atlanta evenings in June can shift.

Please arrive by 6:15 PM so that we can open the ceremony at 6:30 PM on time.

This ceremony is for anyone regardless of gender, background, or spiritual tradition, who feels the call to mark this new moon with intention. Whether you are brand new to plant medicine and breathwork or a seasoned ceremony goer you are welcome here. The only requirement is a genuine willingness to show up for yourself.

Dr. Prandhara Prem is a shamanic medicine woman, tantra practitioner, ordained minister, and somatic breathwork facilitator with over 23 years of experience holding sacred space for healing and transformation. She has facilitated ceremonies, breathwork circles, retreats and plant medicine work across multiple countries and continents.
