New Moon Ceremony at Monroe Yoga
The new moon marks the beginning of a fresh lunar cycle. This is the moment when the moon is hidden from sight, symbolizing renewal, reset, and the perfect time to plant new intentions. It invites us to release what no longer serves and step into transformation.
We will begin the evening with a cacao ceremony, a sacred ritual that has been used for centuries to open the heart, deepen connection, and expand awareness. Cacao is a gentle yet powerful plant medicine that helps bring us into the present moment and fosters a sense of community and inner clarity.
To close, we’ll move into sound meditation — a deeply restorative experience where the body and mind are bathed in therapeutic vibrations. Sound therapy works on a cellular level to reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and restore energetic balance. At Monroe Yoga, our sound therapy includes the resonance of gongs, crystal singing bowls, Koshi and other chimes, Reiki, and subtle energy work, all designed to guide you into profound relaxation and alignment.
