Winners of both the Banff and Fischoff Competitions, and recipients of an Avery Fisher Career Grant, the Jupiter Quarter has performed around the globe and become a major creative voice in chamber music since its founding in 2001. The New Yorker described them as “an ensemble of eloquent intensity” and one of the mainstays of the American chamber-music scene. Their program will include Dvorak's String Quartet No. 14 in A-flat Major, Op. 105, Mozart's String Quartet No. 21 in D Major, K. 575, and "Life in Wayang" by composer Su Lian Tan.Held in the Capistrano Concert Hall. Admission: $30 general, $25 senior, $10 student (any school).
