On 11.8.25, NMPA members can attend the convention- Freedom of the Press, Strength of the Nation: Defending Democracy One Story at a Time.About this Event
New Mexico Press Association members, supporters, local and national speakers, and vendors will join together on Saturday November 8, 2025 at The Clyde Hotel for a day-long convention designed to promote networking, professional development and celebration. The preliminary agenda includes:
- 8am-5:15pm Registration and Silent Auction
- 9-10am General membership meeting with breakfast buffet.
- 10am-10:45am Visit Vendors/Tables and Network
- 11am-12pm AM Keynote
- 12-1pm Lunch and FOG Update
- 2-4pm Guest Speakers
- 4-5:30 vendors, networking, cash bar outside of the banquet room
- 5:30-7:30pm Better Newspapers Awards Banquet and Hall of Fame Inductee
