Membership with the Mason County Sportsman's Association
Every prospective member is expected to attend an orientation meeting so that we can meet with them and answer any questions they may have. The orientation lasts about 3 hours and includes a tour of the facilities, and basic instruction on how to handle a semi-automatic pistol and a revolver. Range Safety Procedures and Basic Standard Operating Procedures are also covered.
A membership application for each applicant is completed at the end of the orientation. Applicants are put to a vote at the next General Membership meeting which currently are virtual meetings.
Interested in becoming a member? There are three easy steps:
Attend a new member orientation class that is the third Saturday of the month at 10AM at the range. The class is up to three hours long. No firearms are needed. We will talk about MCSA and who we are, the different programs that we offer, and what to expect when you come to use the range as a member.
After attending the new member orientation, you may fill out a membership application.
New Members will be voted in at the next General Membership meeting, the first Wednesday of the month.
After you are voted in, you will need to pay membership fees.
Upon receipt of your fees, you will be provided a door fob to access the range.
