One Hundred Miles is excited to announce our Savannah area Master Birder Course! The six-week series will provide birders of all backgrounds, skill levels, and ages with an introduction to ornithology, bird identification, and conservation efforts in coastal Georgia. Local birders will bring their individual expertise and act as field trip guides as we explore key birding locations and habitats in Savannah and further afield.Location: 1702 Bull St, Savannah, GA 31401 and various fieldtrips within an hour of Savannah (including Fort Pulaski, Savannah NWR, Lake Mayer, and more).
Cost: The per-person course fee of $350* (with an online processing fee) includes six interactive evening lectures, five guided field trips, a field guide, a course binder, and a delicious graduation dinner!
The first class is Tuesday, March 25, continuing weekly until graduation on April 29, with the final field trip on May 3.
