The LGBT Center where we normally meet is wholly within the security areas for the RNC, so it’s closed for that week. But the RNC doesn’t get to keep us from gathering!So we’re taking ourselves over to the North Avenue Market for a social gathering instead— no particular topic, just solidarity, and a chance to defy the RNC’s presence by directing our dollars toward a queer-owned, Black-owned business that serves our community.
We’ll be at the community table, and there are options for ordering both food and drink!
