A NEW season of our highly-successful and nationally-renowned junior leagues start this coming Saturday (November 8th) at Chandlers Ford Snooker Club.This is where boys and girls learn the right way to play our game, learn the rules, learn how to win and lose.
Some are quite happy just playing socially and making new friends. For the others, these leagues are the first step on a journey that can take you to regional, national, international and even professional success.
Junior and full-sized cues can be provided. No pre-registration. Non-members welcome. New players and beginners are welcome.
Under-13s from 9-11am. Under-19s from 11am-1pm. Trophies are awarded to players competing in at least 15 of the 20 weeks.
Beginners work with WPBSA coach Tim Dunkley until they are ready to play proper frames.
Cost is £6 for club members and an extra 50p for non-members.
This will be the 74th season of the Saturday morning leagues, which stretch back more than 25 years.
