The New Jersey History and Historic Preservation Conference is the annual state-wide educational and networking opportunity for history and historic preservation professionals and volunteers in the fields of architecture, planning, heritage site and museum management, public history, archaeology, municipal preservation commissions, county heritage offices, developers, students, and more.
Burlington County Lyceum of History and Natural Sciences - June 4 Day 1 Highlights:
- Choose between a guided bus tour of Quaker Meeting Houses or Burlington City and Mount Holly
- Choose between two workshop topics: immersive programing or working with the Historic Preservation Office
- Welcoming Event at the Burlington County Pr*son Museum featuring Amy Bruni
Rowan College at Burlington County - June 5 Day 2 Highlights:
- Keynote address by the Liz Waytkus, Executive Director of docomomo US
- Choice of 13 educational sessions
- Lightning sessions during lunch
- Marketplace sponsor and vendor exhibits
- Award presentation for poster exhibit competition by the NJ Council for the Humanities
