The Encinitas Historical Society is now able to offer this fun educational tour more often and with more varied walking paths! Starting on February 24th, the historical society will offer monthly tours on the 3rd Saturday of every month beginning at 10:00. The tours all start at the 1883 One-Room Schoolhouse, 90 West âFâ Street, where there is plenty of on-site parking. On February 24th we will concentrate on the north end of historic Coast Highway and on March 16th we will cover the south end of the coast highway. This alternating of the route ensures that we can cover the distance in a slower, more leisurely, and personal fashion.
We have implemented a suggested donation of $10.00 per person to the Encinitas Historical Society. We are an all-volunteer organization with tax exempt status and accept cash, checks, and credit/debit cards. Children and dogs are always free!
