Fabulous linear riverside 13km Hike from Richmond to Hampton Court. This beautiful riverside hike begins at the historic Meridian Line by Richmond Bridge, following the Thames along one of its most scenic and varied stretches.
We’ll pass through Richmond Green, the Old Courthouse, and the peaceful Rotary Gardens, before wandering through Ham Lands Nature Reserve and enjoying open views across Petersham Meadows. The route continues past Eel Pie Island with its quaint footbridge, through Kingston, and on to Hampton Court Bridge and surrounding parklands.
Along the way, keep an eye out for rowers, riverside markets, and abundant birdlife — and with a bit of luck, even a seal basking in the water.
We’ll pause at The Anglers Pub in Teddington for a relaxed lunch with river views, finishing at another welcoming riverside pub for a well-earned post-hike refreshment.
