About this Event
In October of last year, Boka Powell took us on a tour of the new Fort Worth city hall, including the council chamber still under construction. Join us now for an exclusive tour of the complete council chamber before council meetings begin next month.
The 28,000 square foot Council Chamber addition to city hall, designed by Brinkley Sargent Wigington, houses a state-of-the-art, 250-seat council chamber, a 110-seat pre-council workroom, executive session room, a green room, and a staff workroom. The clear span roof structure features five-foot-deep, mass timber beams that also form the interior ceiling. Columns support the structure outside the council chamber space. The council chamber has expansive windows providing natural light and views of Trinity Park throughout the space making this a unique council chamber.
Parking: the surface lot on East side of the tower.
Tour will begin in the main lobby at 5:30pm
