CHA-RIE TANG:
48 YEARS OF ARTISTIC INNOVATION IN PASADENA

Cha-Rie Tang, founder of Pasadena Craftsman Tile and an acclaimed multidisciplinary artist and architect, reflects on her creative journey in the retrospective exhibition CHA-RIE TANG: 48 YEARS OF ARTISTIC INNOVATION IN PASADENA. Although Tang began her career in architecture, her creative exploration spans multiple disciplines, including interior design, architectural rendering, and computer graphics. Featured works include vibrant fused glass pieces, high-relief ceramic tiles, and framed designs and sketches that showcase her wide-ranging artistic expression.

STORIES, TRADITIONS & DESIGNS:
SPOTLIGHTING THE AFRICAN AMERICAN QUILTERS OF LOS ANGELES

More than 25 dynamic quilts made by members of the African American Quilters of Los Angeles (AAQLA) will be on view. Members of AAQLA selected from among their own creations for a display that expresses their creativity and personal histories. From intricately pieced quilts that tell stories of struggle and triumph, to vibrant patterns that celebrate their unity and individuality, quilting has provided its members with a means to celebrate their heritage and preserve their stories for future generations.

Thank you to our generous exhibition donors: The Paloheimo Foundation, and Susan Stevens & Family

The exhibitions will be on view to the public beginning October 4, 2025 to January 18, 2026. For More Exhibition Information click, .
