About this Event
Deep roots traces traces the role of the banjo symbolizing Africa’s presence and contribution to American culture. Najjar Abdul-Musawwir, an accomplished artist having exhibited in the U.S., Asia, and Africa asks us to consider: Why do we value creative objects of the past? How do they evidence our purpose and contributions to humanity? And How visual languages convey our understanding of the world? The exhibition will be on view until December 13th.
